- Open your email app / settings to add a new email account.
- Enter your full email address and password.
- Make sure Automatically configure account is unchecked.
- Select General Settings.
- Your “Account name” is the name that account shows up as on your email app.
- Your “Real name” is your name you would like others to see when they receive email from you.
- Your email address is the “name@yourdomain.com” address requested to be setup.
- Select Incoming Server.
- Select “IMAP mail server” from the drop down to make sure messages are kept on the server, or select “POP mail server” from the drop down to download messages from the server.
- The “Server” is pop.yourdomain.com or pop.binary.net.
- Your username/password are the username (or pop number) and password that were given to you when you requested the account.
- Select Advanced settings.
- The “Port” is 110 for POP mail server, or 143 for IMAP mail server.
- Make sure Use secure connection is unchecked (no TLS or SSL).
- Select Outgoing Server.
- The “SMTP server” is smtp-auth.binary.net.
- Your username/password are the username (or pop number) and password that were given to you when you requested an SMTP auth account. If you have not requested an SMTP auth account please contact us.
- Select Advanced settings.
- The “Port” is 25 or 587 (either should work).
- Make sure Use secure connection is unchecked (no TLS or SSL).
