Outlook Express Email Setup

To add a new account:

• Open Outlook Express
• On the top menu bar click on "Tools".
• Select "Accounts".
• Click on the "Mail" tab.
• Click on "Add". From here you can just follow the wizard.
  • Your "Full Name" is whatever you would like others to see as your name when they receive email from you.
  • Your email address is the "name@yourdomain.com" address requested to be setup.
  • The incoming (POP3) mail server is pop.yourdomain.com or pop.binary.net.
  • The outgoing (SMTP) mail server is your ISP's mail server. Common examples are
    mail.binary.net
    mail.alltel.net
  • Your username/password are the username (or pop number) and password that were given to you when you requested the account.

To edit an existing account:

• Open Outlook Express
• On the top menu bar click on "Tools".
• Select "Accounts".
• Click on the "Mail" tab. Select the mail account that you want to change, and click "Properties".
• Click on the "Server" tab.
• Incoming mail server is pop.yourdomain.com or pop.binary.net
• Outgoing mail server is Your ISP's mail server. Common examples are:
  mail.binary.net
  mail.alltel.net
